Meeting Held with the Governor of Khovd Province

On 8 December 2025, the ASDIP Project team met with the leadership of Khovd Province to discuss the project’s progress and the development activities planned for implementation in the province. The meeting was attended by M. Amarsanaa, Governor of Khovd Province; D. Khuyagbaatar, Legal Advisor; B. Amar and B. Vanchindorj, Deputy Coordinators of the project; B. Batzorig, Chief Engineer; Yo.Lkhagvadorj, Engineer; and M. Galbadrakh, Specialist.

During the meeting, the ASDIP team provided a detailed update on the progress and planning of activities to be implemented in Khovd Province. The briefing covered design and engineering preparations, the status of land allocation for the agro-park, the planned construction of bio-secured livestock facilities, the proposed management model, and upcoming work related to energy and infrastructure.

Governor M.Amarsanaa shared an overview of the province’s development policy and major infrastructure initiatives, expressing strong commitment to supporting the project at the local level. He emphasized that the provincial government would ensure swift resolution of land allocation issues and maintain close coordination throughout the project.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to enhance coordination, improve the organization of project activities, and strengthen collaboration to accelerate the implementation of ASDIP development works in Khovd Province.
